Texas de Brazil set to open in late February at Crocker Park
WESTLAKE, Ohio — Texas de Brazil, a Brazilian steakhouse, is set to open this month at Crocker Park, joining the 20-plus places to eat there.
This will be second Ohio location for the restaurant, which has a Columbus location at Easton Town Center. Another location will open at Eton Chagrin Boulevard in the spring.
The 7,500-square-foot Texas de Brazil in Crocker Park, at 174 Union Street, can accommodate 220 guests.
The restaurant is a Brazilian-American churrascaria, which means “gauchos” will come by the table and offer to cut meats off of a sword-like skewer. Options include beef, lamb, chicken and sausage. Guests use disks to show waiters are welcome.
A $400 million expansion at Crocker Park includes the American Greetings headquarters, new hotel, luxury apartment building, civic center and several stores.
There are no prices indicated for the Crocker Park location as of yet, but the Columbus location charges $44.99 for dinner and $24.99 for lunch. This includes access to a salad bar. Other items, such as desserts and alcohol, can be purchased a la carte.
Texas de Brazil averaged four stars on Yelp in its Columbus location.
The restaurant is part of a $400-million expansion to Crocker Park and was originally slated to open in November.
