Where to Dine for Father’s Day in New York City

Looking for a great place to eat with Dad on Father’s Day? Here are some fine New York City restaurants that are offering special menus on Sunday, June 21st, 2015. (Click on the restaurant name for address, phone, and more information.)

Great music and great food are on the docket for Father’s Day at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill. The famous Harlem Gospel Choir will perform for the Sunday Gospel Brunch featuring an all-you-can-eat buffet. Show time is 1pm; click here for tickets and more info.

Benjamin Steakhouse in Midtown Manhattan will be offering a $69.95 prix-fixe menu. Entrée options include a New York Strip Sirloin Steak, Filet of Chilean Sea Bass, Rib Eye Steak, and their double-thick Veal Chop. To sweeten the deal, all fathers who dine there will receive a $50 gift certificate. To view the full menu, click here. Oceana, easily one of Manhattan’s finest seafood establishments, will be serving their dinner menu on Father’s Day from 4-9pm. In addition to their a la carte dinner menu and raw bar, Dad’s can enjoy a special of surft and turf with a smoked grilled flatiron steak with two jumbo shrimp, barbecue sauce, crispy polenta and mushrooms. The upscale Brazilian churrascaria Texas de Brazil in Manhattan will be giving dads who dine a free gift certificate for one complimentary lunch or dinner, with purchase of one regular priced meal.  The certificate is valid Mon-Thurs, until August 31. Celebrate Father’s Day with the incredible Prime Rib special at Del Frisco’s Steak House, located near Radio City Music Hall in Rockefeller Center, midtown Manhattan. Both NYC locations of Morton’s The Steakhouse in Midtown and Downtown will be offering a three-course Father’s Day menu that includes choice of salad, entree (including filet mignon, honey-chili glazed salmon filet [pictured above], double-cut prime pork chops, and more), and dessert for $59 per person. For $69.95 per person, The Sea Fire Grill‘s 3-course Father’s Day menu with sides includes entrée options such as Blackened Prime Rib Eye, Herb Basted Black Sea Bass, and Poached Salmon. And like their sister restaurant Benjamin Steakhouse, they will also be giving away a $50 gift certificate to every father that dines there. If Dad is a baseball fan, you can do no wrong at NYY Steak, with locations in Midtown West Manhattan and Yankee Stadium. NYY Steak will be gifting a voucher for 4 tickets to an upcoming Yankees home game to guests that spend over $200 on Father’s Day, while supplies last.
